About this editorial team

Elke Wouters has tracked the Belgian market since 2017 and verifies every claim with a preference for the maths behind bonuses. Active from Leuven.

How we test. every test starts with a real account, stake money with Bancontact, request payout and record the turnaround. Licence status is verified directly with the Gaming Commission and recalculate the wagering requirement ourselves.

This site earns from affiliate links; the assessment is not altered by it. Even with a well-paying partner the verdict holds.

Limits, age and EPIS

The Belgian framework around player protection is notably strictly by European standards with concrete consequences for your account. On any licensed site the weekly limit defaults to €200. Lowering it is immediate, upwards, a review and a delay apply.

The EPIS system is the regulator's central exclusion list: the block covers every licence holder in the country. The request goes through the regulator itself. Since 1 September 2024 the minimum age is 21 for casino, gaming hall and betting; only the National Lottery stays at 18. A trial account falls under it too.
